Why two versions of the dust jacket?
Katori Shinto-ryu: Warrior Tradition is a bilingual book, with complete text in both Japanese and English. In order to create a book that could sell in the Japanese market, it was necessary for me to design a separate Japanese dust jacket. I was quite surprised when a few of my preview readers took one look at the Japanese version and said, "I've got to have that one too!" Most folks will be entirely content with having the book in its original English dust jacket. But I do recognize that there may be a few collectors, ryu members, and enthusiasts who'd really like to have them both. So, I've decided to offer the book with both dust jackets as well; there are a limited number of the Japanese jackets, so if you are interested in having both, I recommend that you place your order soon. Books with the English jacket only are US$75.00; books with both jackets are US$80.00. The Japanese jacket will be rolled and included with the shrink-wrapped book, which will be in the original English jacket.
