St Louis Botanical Gardens Japanese Matsuri 2004

Visitors to the Japanse Matsuri at the Missouri Botanical Gardens on September 4, 5, and 6, 2004 were treated to one of the most comprehensive demonstrations of classical Japanese martial arts held in this country. Since most of you weren't able to make it, I've selected some photos for you to enjoy.

The Japanese gardens and the festival are quite simply outstanding and tons of fun. If you are ever looking for a way to spend Labor Day weekend, a visit to St. Louis is an excellent choice. I think I can speak for all the demonstrators in saying that we truly enjoyed the experience, and in thanking Dave Lowry for arranging our particpation.
